Rainy Pattern: Cold for Mother’s Day, not as cold for Veterans Day weekend

Mostly cloudy skies today, with light winds out of the northeast, and highs today just shy of 70°. Abundant clouds are expected tonight, as northerly flow warms this air mass a tad more. Increasing clouds are likely for Friday, but highs remain in the low 60s.

High pressure will dominate our schedule. This will mean less clouds for the Monday afternoon, but skies will be mostly cloudy overnight. Highs will be mild, but just slightly cooler than Friday. Patchy fog, light to moderate rain developing across western portions of the state.

Light to moderate rain showers developing Sunday night, should become more widespread by Monday morning, with steadier rainfall by late morning and afternoon. Temperatures Saturday, should hit near 70°. Dry weather becomes increasingly more likely for Sunday afternoon, as surface winds calm down. A few showers are still possible early Monday, before clearing by late morning and afternoon. Highs Monday should reach the low 60s.

Daytime highs will be seasonable in the 60s for the next few days.

Afternoon temperatures may be a little chilly in early November, with unseasonably cool air, and increasing cloud cover for the few days, temperatures may be near 60° for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Beautiful! Winter, and the rest of us won’t mind one bit.
