Channing Tatum proves the cast of ‘Magic Mike’ will make an ’80s revival sequel

Warning: Do not continue reading unless you’ve seen “Magic Mike XXL.”

Channing Tatum revealed that he and his fellow “Magic Mike” cast mates will make another sequel after all.

In April, TheWrap reported that Tatum and the other stars of the series, including Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer and Kevin Nash, would not appear in the forthcoming sequel due to scheduling conflicts.

No reason was given for the logjam but it is apparently between the superstars’ busy schedules.

Well, that has apparently been remedied.

“Magic Mike 3” is gearing up and based on Tatum’s Instagram account, things are moving full steam ahead for the “Magic Mike” follow-up, which will be directed by Steven Soderbergh.

“One of my favorite recent viral videos involved my friend doing a jaw-dropping aerial acrobatic routine at the age of 15,” wrote Tatum on Instagram on Friday, along with a video of his friend, including him doing a high-wire stunt.

Then, along with three tight curls of Bradonna, Tatum posted a still from “Magic Mike 3” which shows Bomer and Nash hanging like panthers with Michael Strahan.

Tatum captioned the picture, “Back & better than ever!”

A sequel for the first two movies was expected to be announced around the time of the Soderbergh-directed “Magic Mike XXL” release last year.
